In my experience and opinion the team is the wiser choice. A great market means a large market. Large markets are made up of heterogeneous companies with unique demands and requirements. A great team might be better able to identify and quickly penetrate specific segments of a large market that drive the most revenue growth and profitability. A great team might be better at quickly assessing the competitive landscape, and current state of the market, and delivering a more value adding solution. A great team might be able to attract the best talent and build a company of great people.
